Papertrey Ink – Fallen Leaves

Hi guys! I used a Papertrey Ink hot foil plate and stencil, Fallen Leaves, with Skybright Glimmer foil for a lovely Autumn inspired card!

I foiled with the hot foil plate on light blue cardstock, then pulled out some Pinkfresh inks, Summer Shower for my blue and Doe and Gathered Twigs for the brown shades. (I do have some Papertrey inks but I don’t yet have the colors I was looking for, for this project. We all have our own supply chain issues!) I used my blending brush to apply color on the leaves, then I used Papertrey Inks Hybrid Ink in Vintage Cream over some of the already colored in areas. I love that cream, light blue and kraft-paper color combination!

I used a finger dauber to apply the ivory colored hybrid ink on top of the dye ink and it worked out just like I wanted it too! (that doesn’t always happen in my craft room)

I trimmed my foiled panel down a bit then wrapped a sweet, ivory ribbon around it with an additional twine string bow before using foam tape to adhere it to the kraft cardstock base.

I used a sentiment from Papertrey Inks Grand Christmas Sentiments stamp and die sets, added some matte gold bling and was done!

I hope some of these design choices have inspired you to make something new today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
