Hi everyone! Welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio January 2024 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release blog hop! Pinkfresh has a fantastic release to share this month! My project today is soft and pretty and showcases their new Sending Love design. I used the hot foil plate and silver foil on heavyweight white cardstock to kick things off. So let’s get into it.

After hot-foiling the Sending Love plate onto cardstock, I used my Pinkfresh blending brushes, the coordinating 2-stencil set, and Pinkfresh inks to color it in. I almost went full-on rainbow with this design; the winter is already very gray. I used a couple of pinks, a rose red, an orange and yellow for the blooms, and blue, purple and teal for the foliage.
LOTS of pretty colors. It improved my mood! 😊
I die-cut it out with the coordinating die and set it aside. Then, I used Pinkfresh’s Nested Circles hot foil and die sets with more white cardstock for the circle and set it aside.
Then I grabbed a recent release, the Fairytale Frame press plate; I used it with the letterpress platform and more pink and orange inks. At first, I used the pads directly on the plate, just dabbing here and there with both colors, and then I pulled out a blending brush to ensure the whole design was covered.
I decided that as a background to the main focal point (that pretty long swoosh of foliage and blooms), it was too bold, so I wrapped it in vellum before adhering it to the card base to diffuse it. (I laid the pressed panel face down on an oversized sheet of vellum, tapered all four sides just a bit, then folded them to the back and taped them down with scotch tape.)
I adhered the circle to the card base with fun foam and strong double-sided tape. I stuck the blooming branch to the circle with foam tape. And that lovely sentiment came from the Sending Love stamp and die sets.
When it came to the bling, I couldn’t decide between the Silver Metallic Pearls and the Sky Blue Clear Drops, so I used them both! 😁 Then I was done with my card.
