Scrapbook.com Exclusives!

Hi guys! I’ve got a couple of cards to share today, using some exclusive-to Scrapbook.com products! Let’s jump right in!

For card no. 1, I used Scrapbook.com’s Mint tape, cut into wonky strips, to mask my card base (Neenah Solar White 110lb.) and inked on some pastel colors. Then I used another piece of cardstock in my MISTI to stamp and heat emboss with gold powder, some sweet Christmas ornaments from the Home for Christmas stamp set. I used some alcohol markers to, simply, color them in and cut the panel down to roughly 3 inches by 4 1/2. Before I stuck that down to my cardbase, I slid a framing piece of cardstock behind it and tied some string around the panel too.

On a separate piece of paper, I stamped and clear heat embossed the Christmas tree from the set. I also, separately stamped and fussy cut out that so-cute bird! I used a Scrapbook.com circle die, from their Nested Circles, to cut out the tree image, ink blended, and splattered paint. I used foam tape to adhere the bird to the tree and used Pops of Color: Soft Lavender and Seafoam to dot around the ornaments for a festive look. The Winter Wishes sentiment came from the Winter Wishes and Spruce Sprigs stamp set.

I thought I would change things up with this Home for Christmas stamp set, which looks tailor-made for some darling “scene” cards, and just put the elements of the stamp set that I wanted on separate panels, then layer them together. I think I ended up with a really cute Christmas card.

For card no. 2, I used Scrapbook.coms so, so pretty Spring Floral A2 plate die. I didn’t have the color of cardstock that I wanted to use for this project, so I inked up a small panel of paper with Pinkfresh Studio’s Slumber. I adhered it to my A2 cardbase, then I used the panel die 4 more times, stacked and glued the pieces together, with the top layer having been inked up with Slumber again, I used a heavier hand to darken the pieces a bit.

The butterflies were topped with vellum and Pinkfresh Studio’s gold Glitter Drops. The sentiment was made using the totally-fun-and-I-can’t-wait-to-use-these-again Modern Alphabet and Number bundle by Scrapbook.com. I can so many ways to use this set! The stamped sentiment is from the Handmade Essentials stamp set. And I was done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
