Hi everyone! Welcome to the next stop on Pinkfresh Studio’s March 2021 Cling Stamp, Stencil, Die and Hot Foil Release blog hop! While the big news for this release is that Pinkfresh is introducing hot foil plates in their own signature design style, the three projects that I’m sharing today are all from a new stencil set. I hot foiled with a couple of the new sentiments (easy peasy) and used the 6-piece stencil set, which does not have an accompanying hot foil plate but it does coordinate with a previously released stamp set that you may already have, the lovely Flower Garden.
After I stamped with the Flower Garden stamp set, I lined up the stencils one by one onto Neenah white 110 lb. cardstock and just played with my Pinkfresh inks. Because this is an image of a flower garden I thought it would have been really cool if every flower was a different color. But I liked how this one turned out and decided to keep it. I used Picket Fence Studio’s Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze with the last stencil of the set because it was the same color as the foil that I was planning to use for the sentiment.
I used Pinkfresh’s new Best Wishes hot foil plate and die for the sentiment and popped it up with foam tape. I did add some bling with Pinkfresh’s Jewels Mix, because… well, I guess you don’t always need a reason. Sparkle because you can.
This next one came about because I was really loving all of those sprays of tiny black and white flowers mixed in the Flower Garden image and wanted to play that up a little.
I grabbed my Diagonal Stitched Circles die set and spotlighted a section of another stenciled image of Flower Garden, die cut it out and die cut another larger “border” circle to back it. I splattered with black paint onto some vellum, let it dry then die cut out some Curvy Leaves from the spotted vellum and glued them to the back of the top stenciled circle. I added some foam tape to give the top and bottom circles a little space between each other and glued another large circle of paper to the back of the card with a scored line near the top.
I thought it might be fun to use more of that splattered vellum to back the “thank you” die. I just love all those sprays of black dots! No bling this time, I just decided that that might have looked a little too chaotic.
I made this next project from another stenciled image of Flower Garden, and had to include one of my fav’s – Stickles Moon Dust glitter gel, with one of the stencil layers for even more glitter. I used pink and green foil with the new sentiment hot foil plate, You Sparkle, I love how the word “Sparkle” arches just a bit, I knew it would fit really well over the stenciled flowers. And then added a sweet die cut border piece using Pinkfresh’s Stitched Scalloped Rectangles, that had been inked with some Mint and Meadow to sort of pull it all together.
I popped up “Sparkle” and “Generosity” with teeny tiny little pieces of foam tape (labor of love, people!). And added some pretty pink jewels from the Jewels mix. I ended up really loving this card.

Your colors on these are wonderful but for me the runaway element is the black splatter on the vellum die cut. I have never seen that before and it looks amazing!
