Hi everyone! Welcome to your next stop on the Pinkfresh Studio June 2020 Pop Out stamp and die release blog hop! I’m so thrilled to be a guest designer this month with Pinkfresh, they have such a pretty and bright aesthetic, it was a lot of fun to work with their product.

I started with a panel of cardstock in sea glass, cut it down to 3 3/4 X 5. Inked up the edges with a slightly darker shade of blue green, then used Simply diamonds die to cut out the diamond shapes, saving all the pieces. I used a q-tip to swipe some clear embossing ink along the edges of the lattice and heat embossed with a glittery silver then adhered all of the pieces down on another slightly larger panel of cardstock minus the diamond pieces where the flowers were going to go.
I used the Pop Out: Diamonds stamp set and fade-out ink to stamp each of the flowers and used pencils to color in these sweet and simple flower images. I had to do it one at a time instead of all at once, I’m not a very fast colorist and was afraid some would fade before I could get to them with my pencils.
I popped the diamond shapes with the finished flowers up on some foam tape to adhere them to the panel. Then I added some shiny sequins around a simple sentiment to help draw the eye to it.
I decided to make some tags because I thought the diamond/lattice die cut would look so pretty with some ribbon draped around it.
I started with a couple of ink splattered backgrounds, and cut them to 2 1/2 X 5 inches. I used the Simply Diamonds die 4 times, so that I could layer and offset them on both tags. I used the Pop Out: Diamonds stamp set again for more flower coloring fun and this time I used the coordinating Diamond Floral Bunches to die cut them out. I adhered it all down, added some shiny sequins and was done for the day.

Using the silvery glitter embossing around your lattice was such a perfect touch! I love that your card base isn’t white, too. I find that I mostly use white, so I’m intentionally looking for inspiration in other base colors. Your card is so beautiful!
