Hey guys! I used the stamp set from Simon Says Stamp’s November card kit to stamp out these woodland creatures. I don’t have any fade out ink so I just used the lightest shade of oxide ink that I thought I would match the color pencils I would use for that particular critter.

Then I sat down to watch something on Netflix and colored (using my Arteza colored pencils) for awhile. Good times! I used a blending pencil to smooth out and blend shades of color together.

When I was done I die cut them out with a Spellbinders Fancy Edged Oval shape and picked out some oxide inks to make swooshy backgrounds. First I stamped some of the floral/leafy stamps from the same SSS Nov. set. I left them arranged in the stamp positioner knowing that when I was down painting the backgrounds over the first embossing I would re-stamp and emboss.

I pulled out some white gouache to not loose the floral stamping. The “thinking of you” sentiment banners were fussy cut out and colored. the little white bows went down last. Such cute woodland creatures!!
