Hi everyone! Welcome to your next stop on the Pinkfresh Studio November 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Embellishment Release hop! I’ve got a sweet birthday card to share today. (It’s unashamedly pink and sparkly, so maybe it’s not the best fit for that special guy in your life.š) I made today’s card using Pinkfresh Studio’s new, gorgeous, Nothing but the Best stamp, stencil, and die. I love this illustration of a bouquet fluttering in the breeze. š
I started with stamping the flowers onto white cardstock, then used the Nothing but the Best stencil set to color them. I used Ballet Slipper, Cherry Blossom, and Sweet Mustard for the blooms. Then, I returned the image to the MISTI (where I left the stamp) to reapply some Detail Black ink. After that was dry, I used the stencil to apply some sparkly silver gel to the leaves and set it aside to let it dry for a while.
I used Intricate Stitched Ovals coverplate die on a cardstock panel and cut out a circle. I blended some color around the edge and decided to adhere another circle die cut on top using the Stitched Scallop Circles die set.
Then, I cut a panel of heavyweight white cardstock to 4 3/4 X 9 1/2 inches and folded it in half for a square cardbase. Before adhering everything to it, I used a stencil from Pinkfresh’s Argyle stencil set to blend on some criss-cross stripes. Then, the corners were rounded, and the circle went down first, with fun foam for dimension. The bouquet was adhered to one of the die-cut circles using foam tape.
I used the bow die from the Wrap Around Elements die set, and the sentiment is from the Nothing but the Best stamp and die sets.
