Hi, my friends! I’m up on the Pinkfresh blog with a sweet, crafty card. The Classic Correspondence stamp, stencil, and die sets are full of charming illustrations of crafty tools, including scissors, a journal, washi tape, a pen, an envelope, and more.ย
I used the Classic Correspondence stamp, stencil, and die sets with a pretty peach and sage green color palette.
Let’s start with the backing panel:
- Blend PFS ink colors Sunkissed, Misty Coast, and Sage in separate areas on a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch panel of white cardstock. Pinkfresh’s 1″ brushes lend a beautifully soft blend.
- Use the Stippled Plaid press plate (as a press plate) with Olive ink over the blended panel.
- Use one of the Postage Edge rectangle dies to cut it down slightly and create a pretty border.
- I used fun foam to pop it up over an A-2 sized cardbase. If you prefer to leave it flatter, exclude the fun foam or foam tape and adhere directly to the cardbase.
For those fun craft tool die-cuts:
- Stamp the image of the craft tools (they’re all together on one stamp) onto more white cardstock and leave the stamp in your stamping platform.
- Use the five stencils in the Classic Correspondence stencil set to color in the tools.
- Once colored, put the panel back into the stamping platform and stamp the image again with black ink to highlight the detail more.
- You can go back over it with the stencils and apply pastes or gels if you’d like. I used gold paste in just a few areas.
- I used the Classic Correspondence die set to cut out the crafty tools when everything was dry. Then, I used the die again with white cardstock and glued the doubles together to strengthen the die cuts.
- I used foam tape to pop them up over my backing panel, leaving a space for the sentiment.
- I applied Peach Fuzz jewels around my “happy mail” sentiment.
- Then, I tied a bow with some pretty peachy ribbon from my stash and stuck it on the card using glue dots.

And I was done with my card! I love the variety of sentiments included in the stamp and press plate sets, such as thank you, just saying hello, and happy belated birthday.
I hope this inspires you to make something new today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
