Hi everyone! Welcome to your first stop on the Pinkfresh Studio “Pure Bliss” Release blog hop! Information on giveaways and prizes is listed below.
I have a colorful project to share with you today. I used Pinkfresh Studio’s new Cherry Bliss stamp, stencil, and die in nontraditional colors! I decided to use a bunch of PFS colors for these cherries and a little sparkly silver gel for the stem because… why not? I was in the mood for something colorful and glitzy.

- Stamp one of the two cherry images onto white cardstock using a medium gray color. Leave the stamp in your stamping platform.
- Use the Cherry Bliss stencil set to color in the image. With stencil #1 (focusing on just one branch of cherries) and moving from left to right, I used Blue Jay and Sapphire. Then, Soft Lilac, Lavender, and Candy Violet. Then, I used Passion Fruit and Sunshine with a little Mimosa to help transition from red to yellow. For the flower, I used Sparkling Rose.
- With stencil #2 (the leaves and flower detail), I used Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine. Then I used Waterfall and Turquoise. The third leaf was Sky Blue and Summer Shower.
- With stencil #4, I used Stargazer, Regal Kiss, Berrylicious, and Sweet Mustard from left to right.
- The colored image went back into the stamping platform, and I used Detail Black with the stamp over the image again.
- Then, I used stencil #3 with a silver glitter gel for the branch/stem. I like Stickles Asteroid glitter gel.
- Once dry, use the Cherry Bliss die to cut it out.
I used PFS’s new Stitched Basket Weave coverplate die on white cardstock. (So perfect as a backdrop for the cherries!) I trimmed it to 4 X 4 1/4 inches, rounded the top corners, and used foam tape to pop it up on the cardbase. I used a stencil from the previously released Border Stencils to apply traditional cherry colors to my card. I trimmed this piece of cardstock to 1 X 1 1/4 inches and rounded the bottom corners. It, too, was popped up with foam tape.
I used a sentiment from the Cherry Bliss stamp set; the Cherry Bliss die set has a die to cut it out. Then, I decided to place small white and silver flowers around the cherry stem and mined a few leftovers from previous projects in my stash. (from the Stylized Florals and Sweet Blossoms die sets.) I wrapped a bright yellow twine around the card front. And I was done!

I hope some of these design choices have inspired you to create something new today. Thank you so much for stopping by!

-Anne
