Pinkfresh Studio November 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi everyone! I’m happy to have been invited to join in on Pinkfresh Studio’s November 2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release blog hop! I’ve got 3 cards to share today, so I will stay as succinct as I can. I respond to every comment I get so if I miss something in the article and you’d like to ask a question, please do.

Let’s start with Pinkfresh’s new Overlapping Geo Leaf! With this new design, Pinkfresh has available a hot foil plate, a 5-stencil set, and a die. I decided not to use the hot foil plate today, I thought it would look so soft and pretty without a hard outline. I used the stencil set on Neenah Solar White 110 lb. cardstock with Pinkfresh inks: Ballet Slipper, Soft Lilac, Fresh Pear, and Sky Blue. I used one color with each stencil, but did not use the 5th stencil which colors in the inside of each geo leaf bloom. I blended the colors to fade to white to keep everything looking dreamy.

I die-cut the ink blended design out with the Overlapping Geo Leaf die and glued it to another die cut just for some stability. I used foam tape to pop it up over a base card, that I made with Pinkfresh’s Dainty Plaid and Wow’s Halo embossing powder. The embossed lines provided a subtle shimmer and stayed in the background. I used a couple of vellum die-cut circles behind the sentiment to help it to stand out a bit more from the card. And that so lovely sentiment came from another of Pinkfresh’s new releases: With Sympathy stamp set and coordinating die.

I added Pinkfresh’s iridescent clear drops and was done.

For this next card, I used their so, so pretty You’re the Best stamp, stencil, and die sets. I stamped the flowers onto a very light pink cardstock (Papertrey Ink) with Pinkfresh’s Doe brown. I ink-blended the flowers in with the 5-stencil set, again I think I skipped one of the stencils, probably the one that provides the flowers some detail. I used orange and pink colors for the blooms and soft browns for the leaves. Then I put the ink-blended image back into my MISTI where I had left the stamp and slightly shifted the pink cardstock from where it was for the first stamping. I think I actually did that three times, shifted one way or another – once for each bloom, and used a bolder brown ink (Gathered Twigs) to stamp over the stenciled blooms. I love this design… I might have to use it again, I’m not done with it yet. And, I think, it worked so well with these beautiful flowers!

The thank you sentiment is from the same stamp set and has an accompanying die. I adhered the pink panel to a Kraft cardstock base and sprinkled gold Glitter Drops across it. I used a glue dot to add a twine bow and was done!

I used the new Modern Design Blocks hot foil plate and 5-stencil set for my third card. I started by hot foiling with black foil, then I decided on 5 colors to use, one for each stencil, easy-peasy. Here is a link to the image that inspired these colors: on Pinterest. I picked one Pinkfresh color for each stencil: Passion Fruit, Marigold, Aquamarine, and then black and white. So quick and easy. I added a couple of sentiments both are from the You’re the Best stamp set. I had to add something kind of “frilly” to this bold design and adhered a sprig of Pinkfresh’s Curvy Foliage cut from black cardstock, around the sentiment. I decided any extra embellishments might be too much and was done with this card.

Fast! And I’m not a very fast card-maker. Just pick a few colors that you like, and go to town. This design is so smart and pretty!

I hope that some of these ideas and products have inspired you to make something new today, thank you so much for stopping by!
