Pinkfresh’s August 2020 Stamp and Die Release!

Hi everyone! Welcome to your next stop on Pinkfresh’s August New Release Hop! Hopefully you got here from Angelica Conrad‘s post and Ashley Ebben should be next. I’ve got a lot to share today, so let’s get to it.

I might love this child the most. I grabbed a piece of paper from the Pinkfresh/Altenew collab 6×6 paper pack, Celebration, and I used Pinkfresh’s fun new Lea’s Ornate Lowercase die set. Love!! Not only do I love the sweeping line and curly cue’s but it has a slight outline that is die cut along with the letter. So many possibilites!

I die cut out the words “love you”, layered them a few times and adhered them back down on the paper. I decided to pull a shade of dark red from the image on the paper for the outline of the words. Then tied a simple twine bow around the top of the card and was done. Charming!

Next up is a sweet little baby card. I used Lea’s Ornate Lowercase alpha die set combined with Heather’s Lowercase die set, in order to get the letters to fit across the 4″ width of the white die cut oval. The letters match in style, Heather’s are a little less sweeping and take up less room. I used a blending brush to sweep a little color onto card stock for the ombre look then die cut out the word I needed.

That sweet wreath of flowers is from Pinkfresh’s new Charming Floral Wreath. Half of the wreath is a layering stamp and the other half of the wreath is open for your coloring medium of choice. (This stamp set has teeny tiny sentiments! Adorable!)

I stamped one half of the flowering wreath twice with a soft peachy/orange ink combo for the blooms and used Pinkfresh’s Misty Coast and Metropolis inks for the leaves and branches. Then die cut it out with the accompanying Charming Floral Wreath die set. I used two layers of foam tape to pop them up over the “baby” sentiment and added a little purple bow

Next up is the most rainbow-y project of the bunch! I used the Lea’s Ornate Uppercase and Lowercase stamp set and a bunch of pretty colors on some white card stock cut to 3 X 8. And later adhered to a card base measuring approximately 3 1/2 X 8 1/2.

Once again I had some fun with the tiny outline that is also die cut with Pinkfresh’s new alpha die’s and adhered them down on top of the stamped letters a little wonky. Slightly off center and bending up from the card. I really love these. I used dies from Pinkfresh’s Slim diagonal stitched rectangles to get the gold border piece. Then added some Essential Jewels to finish it off.

I hope that this has inspired you to make something new today! And thanks so much for coming by!
