Hey guys! I used a Sunny Studio die set for this cheerful card. Once I got this die set in my craft room and started working with it so many ideas were coming to me, I had a hard time focusing on just one and actually getting something done! I think I was inspired to use this color palette by a recently posted card I saw by Suzy Plantamura, for the die’s to Simon Say’s Stamp’s December 2019 card kit release. Those colors were all full of sugary sweetness. I loved it!
I inlaid the first die cut wreath, I liked it flat with the panel. I snipped some teeny tiny pieces of dimensional foam tape to raise the second white wreath piece up and off set it a little from the silver wreath underneath it. Originally I was going to use a sentiment strip for that just-right sentiment, SSS’s Christmas Cheer stamp set, across the bottom but I ended up not liking it so I held my breath and stamped and embossed (Tinsel embossing powder/Recollections) directly on the panel when the card was all done. Whew!
The silver snowflake actually went down at the very last minute, the card looked off balance to me… and the sentiment was a tiny bit crooked. Oh well! Everything worked out in the end.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope this inspired you to make your own cheerfully colored Christmas card!
